FAQ: What does ‘Minimum’ and ‘Maximum’ CPC Mean?

MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM CPC BIDS

How does ManageMyTraffic use Min and Max Bids?
  • Both the minimum and maximum cost per click (CPC) bids are utilized to set a threshold for the built-in Bid Suggestion Engine. This tool functions not only as a bulk bid upload but also works intuitively with the data from your Google Shopping campaigns to offer meaningful bid suggestions aimed at keeping your products profitable when either increasing or decreasing bids for products.
DEFAULT MINIMUM BID
  • When setting a Default Min Bid this value sets a base line so that products can continue to serve ads and are eligible to accumulate impressions and click.
  • The recommended Default Bid for New Users is $0.01
DEFAULT MAXIMUM BID
  • A Default Max CPC is the maximum you are willing to spend on a single click for a product ad. The Suggestion Engine WILL NOT exceed this value even when it suggests a higher value.
